Especially found in tropical and subtropical regions. This species of plant from the Gesneriaceae family is known for its vibrant flowers and lush foliage, making it an indoor and outdoor plant. Its common name is Bolivian Sunset Gloxinia, and its botanical name is Seemania sylvatica. It is considered to be native to Central and South America, i.e., Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador. Typically, this plant grows six to twelve inches tall and spreads up to eighteen inches. The lanceolate leaves are velvety green with maroon undersides. Bright flowers with yellow, orange, and red petals are long-lasting and appear mainly in autumn and winter. Seemania sylvatica is relatively easy to grow and thrives in conditions that mimic its native habitat. This plant likes bright, indirect light and can tolerate filtered sunlight or partial shade. But avoid direct sunlight, which can cause the leaves to burn. It grows in temperatures between sixty-five degrees Fahrenheit and eighty degrees Fahrenheit. But this plant is very sensitive to cold and is likely to die in temperatures below fifty degrees Fahrenheit. As it requires moderate to high humidity, use a pebble tray or humidifier in dry environments. Another important thing is to take special care to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water only when the soil under the plant feels about an inch dry. This plant prefers a partially rich soil with good drainage. Peat moss, perlite, and potting mix are all suitable. In 1853, a public aquarium known as the Fish House was opened at the London Zoo. These early aquariums were small and concentrated on local freshwater fish due to the difficulty of maintaining seawater tanks. With the advancement of marine science and technology, larger and more complex aquariums were developed, such as those in New York (1896) and Berlin (1913), which were the first to house exotic marine life from around the world. Over time, aquariums have evolved into complex and immersive environments that can replicate the marine ecosystem, displaying a wide variety of species including corals, sharks, and large mammals. There are a few things to keep in mind to keep a table top aquarium healthy and attractive, starting with choosing the right size and aquarium equipment for your room. That is, an aquarium with a capacity of about five to twenty gallons of water would be ideal for a table top, small tanks are difficult to maintain due to fluctuations in water parameters, so larger if possible. Be careful to choose the aquarium itself. The next thing to consider is the filtration of the water in the tank, for that choose a filter that is suitable for the size of your tank. A sponge filter, small HOB or hang-on back filter is preferable. Always use a water conditioner to remove chlorine and chloramines from tap water before adding it to the tank. Monitor the tank temperature daily, especially if there are sudden weather changes. Only feed the fish what they can eat within two to three minutes. Overfeeding can lead to waste accumulation, which can cause water quality problems. Feed a variety of foods for better nutrition and fish health. Likewise, low-maintenance plants such as Java moss, Anubias, and Java fern are good for small tanks. Trim the plants regularly to purify them by absorbing nitrates, prevent them from overgrowing and maintain an attractive appearance. Use an algae scrubber to clean the aquarium glass weekly. Harsh chemicals or soaps should be avoided as they can harm the fish. Add some algae-eating snails or shrimp if that suits your fish. Regular water changes and limiting light exposure to six to eight hours of exposure per day reduce algae growth. Another important thing is to constantly monitor the fish for unusual behavior or physical changes such as fins, lethargy, or spots, but to prevent disease, it is important to quarantine new fish for two weeks in a separate tank before adding them to your main tank. Nutritional properties This plant possesses medicinal properties that are beneficial for culinary purposes. It is a popular leafy vegetable in tropical and subtropical regions. Its scientific name is Ipomoea Aquatica, and its common name is water spinach, kangkong, swamp cabbage, river spinach, etc. Its origin is Southeast Asia. Water spinach is rich in vitamins, minerals, vitamin A, vitamin C, and some B vitamins. It also contains minerals such as iron, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, antioxidants beta-carotene, lutein, flavonoids, and high fiber content. It aids digestion and is ideal for a low-calorie diet, but the health benefits of Ipomoea Aquatica are countless.

Watercress is a fast-growing crop, usually ready for harvest within 30 to 60 days of planting, depending on growing conditions and desired plant size. Usually the first harvest can be started when the plant reaches a height of thirty centimeters. Harvest by cutting 5 to 10 cm above the soil level. This method helps the plant grow back and produce more young shoots. Subsequent harvests can be done every one to two weeks as the plant regrows. Water spinach grows quickly after harvesting. Early morning harvesting is preferable; regular harvesting prevents the plant from flowering and keeps the stems and leaves moist. Store harvested spinach in clean, cold water in a plastic bag in the refrigerator to keep it fresh for 3 to 5 days.
